WATCH: The Denver Nuggets Send A Christmas Video To Their Fans

Someone told the Denver Nuggets that it was okay to make a Christmas video for their fans. Well, that same somebody should have warned the fans they were getting the card because the display of, how shall I say it, wretched wackness below should never have been given the okay.

Here, for your viewing displeasure, are the Denver Nuggets—rapping to Run-DMC's 'Christmas in Hollis'—spreading their holiday cheer.

Someone please get Rev Run on the line...I don't think he'd be too happy about this...

Wow...y'all were definitely illin' on that one.

The New York Jets Suspend and Fine Sal Alosi—Bad Move, Jets

After Sal Alosi stuck his knee out to trip Nolan Carroll, there appeared to be only one right move for the Jets to make in his regard—fire the idiot.

However, true to their brash and bold nature, the Jets didn't see fit to do so. Instead, Alosi will receive a $25,000 fine, and be suspended for the remainder of the season. Which, if you think about it, is three games—assuming the playoffs aren't included in his suspension—and just a handful more if the playoffs are included.

Are they serious?

There was nothing accidental about what Alosi did on Sunday. His only error was in getting caught and, honestly, if he hadn't, there would be no apology and no fine because it's doubtful that he or anyone in the Jets organization would have come forward as a snitch—leaving him free to be stupid again at some other point in time.

Pathetic.

Oh, and for those who are making excuses for Alosi, consider this: what if Carroll's fall resulted in a career-ending injury? Would it still be alright then, too?

Better still, what if this happened to a marquise player?

If this were Troy Polamalu, Reggie Wayne, or Darren Sharper, would your attitude towards Alosi's actions change? Honestly, none of that should matter. Alosi's actions were inexcusable, inexplicable, and indecent, and he should have been punished accordingly—period.

The very fact that the Jets didn't see fit to do so speaks more to the frat house culture of Rex Ryan's sidelines than anything. Sal Alosi should be spending his Christmas holiday looking in the want ads for a job—not suffering through a few weeks without pay.

One thing is certain, the Jets just bet their integrity on a guy who is as replaceable as the waterboy in the NFL ranks—sure hope he's worth it.
